I’d like to read more about real estate website seo. If I would have known just how much work it was going to be before I ever got started, I would have been really intimidated. The main thing I learned is that you have to rank #1, or #2 on a search term to really get any traffic. Having the 7th listing on page 1 of Google just doesn’t seem to yield decent results. Yes, that may work great for a nationwide website, but agent’s websites only cover a small area and there simply is not enough traffic to accept anything less than the top ranking.

We have a word press site and it is def. an easy website to use for newcomers. It is easy to do SEO work which makes it easy to get leads!

Creation of search engine friendly website needs much attention. I found its difficult to build a SEO friendly site using open source, but there are lots of plug ins are available to make the site SEO friendly.

I have used both and if you know what you’re doing, you can do a lot to help with the SEO aspects of Joomla. WordPress is great, but Joomla is much more powerful.

My real estate website is WordPress and I’ve been really happy with it, but I do wish it had some more administrative capabilities. I’d like to check out Joomla a little closer after hearing it has some advantages that WP does not. However, I did watch a Google interview video today where they said that WordPress is set up to naturally make your website SEO friendly, so it’s confirmed by the giant of all search engines.

I’ve read quite a few post you’ve made regarding IDX solutions for Joomla. I understand there’s no magic bullet out there, but I’m currently building my site and was curious to know what suggestions you have that I can use.

I agree with loan mod……..SEO is a pretty difficult concept for many real estate professionals to grasp. I wish something like this was available a while back, but I am happy that it is present now.
